For a decade, award winning singer/songwriter Candice Night, legendary guitarist Ritchie Blackmore, and their fellow band of minstrels have crafted an enchanting folk/rock sound with Renaissance overtones that has earned them the devotion of fans around the globe.

Over the course of five high internationally charting studio albums, several live and compilation releases, numerous awards and many sold-out tours around the planet, they have truly perfected their signature blend of music.

Following his global success as Deep Purple and Rainbow's guitarist and main composer, Ritchie Blackmore changed his musical form of expression in the mid-Nineties and co-founded Blackmore's Night with instrumentalist / lyricist and lead vocalist Candice Night.

Blackmore's Night have fascinated their steadily growing fan community since 1997 with wonderful vocal melodies and evocative guitar parts. Their debut album, Shadow Of The Moon, stayed in the German album charts for 17 weeks and went gold in Japan. The band toured churches, opera houses, theatres and castles all over the world with their next release, Under A Violet Moon, out in spring 1999, which entered high in the European and Japanese charts. It was voted Best Vocal Album of the Year in USA. Their 2001 release, Fires At Midnight, marked a continuation of their success and went to no. 9 in the German album charts (no. 20 in Japan), impressing fans and media alike.

Past Times With Good Company (2002) was the first live album by Blackmore's Night, followed twelve months later by the studio recording and gold album awarded - Ghost Of A Rose. The 2004 release, Beyond The Sunset - The Romantic Collection, brought together the most beautiful ballads from the early years and was voted Number One Vocal Album in the USA. Castles And Dreams, the first DVD release by Blackmore's Night followed and received the coveted PBS honored special airing times throughout the USA. In spring 2006 the latest studio album "The Village Lanterne", brought the band back into the top 20 album charts worldwide.
The band continues to tour around the globe and this brand new DVD filmed at the famous "Olympia" in Paris, France is a celebration of the past 10 years.
