Kiko is one of the most underrated, unsung, and quietly influential heroes of the French electronic community. His masterfully produced tracks are composed of a unique blend of Italo-disco, New Beat, and acid house, best epitomized by the two singles he released for Gigolo back in 2005 (there was a directness and effectiveness to ‘Jack the Box’ and ‘Good Sluts Factory’ that the label haven’t been able to match since.)

He’s also known for reviving Alexander Robotnick’s career by releasing a few updated remixes of the Italian maestro on his own (and now defunct?) Hot Banana imprint in 2003. He even discreetly invented electroclash a decade ago (‘Frank Sinatra’ was famously recorded in his home studio in the south of France, you know.)
