It’s a fact – The Shoes are the coolest duo to come out of France since Django Reinhardt & Stephene Grappelli, and although boasting a full set of fingers, this Gallic two piece also seem to be making waves beyond their homeland.
The Shoes, known to their friends and family as Guillaume & Benjamin are from the French town of Reims (45 mins outside Paris), they met at the age of 15 and immediately gelled, falling into a love-hate affair that’s seen many a twist and turn along the way. Needless to say, a relationship that was built on a love of music, girls and being too cool for ecole, is still going strong.
