Reverend & The Makers is a collective of musicians, brought together by Jon McClure to realize his musical vision and communicate his powerful message of dissent. Their debut album 'The State Of Things' was produced by Jagz Kooner (Primal Scream/Massive Attack/Garbage/Kasabian) and mixed by Cenzo Townshend (Echo & The Bunnymen, New Order, Editors, Snow Patrol). Having graduated from playing in the bands like 1984 & Judan Suki with Alex Turner from Arctic Monkeys, with whom he still shares a flat, to curator of his Reverend Soundsystem club night, Jon McClure is the don of the Sheffield music scene, a passionate punk poet, teacher, preacher and eloquent commentator on urban life and now creator of one of the most essential albums you are likely to hear in a very long time.
Now, fresh from his worldwide success with indie supergroup MONGREL, Jon McClure brings us his 2nd Reverend & The Makers studio album "A French Kiss In The Chaos"which has again been produced by Jagz Kooner and mixed by Dave Sardy (The Ting Tings/Oasis/LCD Soundsystem).
