Michael Franti April Tour

The Frontier Touring Company is happy to announce blues and roots fan favourites MICHAEL FRANTI & SPEARHEAD will be joined by very special guests KIM CHURCHILL and RAV THOMAS on their upcoming Australian tour that kicks off in just two weeks.

As the temperature starts to drop fans can be sure Michael Franti & Spearhead will be bringing the sounds of sunshine with them when the tour commences on Monday April 18th in Adelaide. The release of Michael Franti & Spearhead's latest album The Sound of Sunshine (out now through Liberator Music) was met with amazing reviews and enthusiasm. New single 'I'll Be Waiting' will hit radios next week and is sure to be a crowd favourite.

Singer songwriter/guitarist Kim Churchill is a talented individual; at just 20 years of age he has already made a name for himself through his music, most recently returning from the legendary SXSW in Austin Texas where his shows were met with overwhelming enthusiasm.

Churchill's brand of experimental acoustic guitar music is a sure hit with live audiences; he was one of the stand out performers of last years Byron Bay Bluesfest and has also performed at festivals such as Woodford Folk Festival and Queenscliff Music Festival.

Opening on the night will be Rav Thomas, a Melbourne based singer songwriter whose distinct sound has scored him constant live attention and an adoring fan base. Combine this with the chart success of his debut EP Lily and it's follow up single 'Like a Game Show Host' and it's clear that this is an act not to be missed!
